Angiomas

Angiomas are unsightly red vascular lesions that can occur in most body areas of both women and men. Cherry hemangioma’s are harmless, however many people worry about whether they’re an indication of a skin condition – consequently causing concern. Surgical excision was the norm for removal often resulting in bleeding and scarring. How does it work?

The laser energy superheats the vasculature that feeds the lesion, thereby destroying it. No cryotherapy (freezing), burning (electrosurgery/cautery) or shaving is needed. Nothing touches the skin but a beam of laser energy and the cosmetic result is excellent!

It is painful?

This is a non-invasive treatment – most clients experience little to no discomfort.

Is there aftercare treatment?

Because treatments are non-ablative, you can resume normal daily activities immediately after treatment. We recommend keeping the area moisturized and avoid tanning and extended sun exposure for one month post-treatment.

What are symptoms of a cherry angioma?

A cherry angioma is a small, bright cherry-red lesion that is usually the size of a pinhead to about ¼ inch in diameter.
